Smith Roberts Baldischwiler, LLC (SRB, LLC) is one of the largest private surveying firms in Oklahoma, providing land surveys and land-related services for over $25 billion in asset transactions each year. This division maintains a large staff for projects of any size, utilizing advanced surveying technology and techniques to ensure accuracy, precision, and quality control. Our plan aims to position the department as a leader in the market, leveraging technology, fostering collaboration, and contributing to sustainable development.
SRB provides exceptional experience to the needs of all parties involved in a commercial real estate transaction, with a team of professionals that are able to develop a survey product that meets or exceeds the requirements put in place by the American Land Title Association and the National Society for Professional Surveyors.
ALTA Surveys are no longer a tool used by the title insurance industry; they also provide a thorough representation of an existing property to all parties involved in the commercial transaction.
The ALTA Survey can answer the following:
Along with meeting the ALTA Survey Standard Requirements, SRB will also include any negotiated items from Table A upon delivery of the survey.
Our DesignReady® Surveys is a product brand we registered in 1981 after extensive collaboration with our own in-house engineers and other client’s request to provide them with a product that contains topographic information along with other specific design information needed to complete a full civil site package and is the basic foundation for the design plans being created by an engineer or architect. These drawings are produced by the gathering of elevations in relation to existing above-ground features and creating contours for design purposes.
DesignReady® Survey is a registered trademark of Smith Roberts Baldischwiler, LLC.
A boundary survey is used to determine or re-trace the physical location of a tract of land described within a recorded document or land patent on the ground and marked with a ferrous monument.
Our boundary surveys are easy to follow for even the most complicated tracts of land by using color to highlight the boundary lines and are certified to meet or exceed the requirements set forth by the State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineering and Professional Land Surveyor
Smith Roberts Baldischwiler, LLC (SRB) was an early adopter of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) technology in our construction and engineering processes. SRB has FAA certified Small Unmanned Aerial System (sUAS) drone pilots on staff that stay current with the latest technology and trends. SRB has embraced this new technology as a low-cost, effective approach to inspect pipeline routes. The drone platform allows information to be gathered in areas where it would be difficult or pose a safety hazard to access on foot and allows for first hand, near real-time data collection. Pipeline inspection is just one of many aspects of our drone operations. SRB currently utilize drones for project planning, pre-bid planning, construction oversite and 3D modeling. As a firm with engineering and surveying at its core, our drone operations are completely vetted for accuracy and solely focused on jobsite data acquisition.
SRB uses 3D scanning technology to provide a virtual “on-site” view of complex situations. High Definition Laser Scanning allows the end user the ability to work “in the data” and be on-site virtually with an accurately scanned colorized 3D point cloud. This approach of gathering Terrestrial Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) data provides our clients with precise data in a short amount of time while including a high-level safety factor.
Typical applications for Laser Scanned Data in the Oil and Gas sector as provided by SRB:
After processing, the data from the point cloud can be utilized to produce dimensionally correct 3D models and/or 2D-dimensional plans, with outputs to MicroStation, AutoCAD, Revit, and a host of other platforms.
SRB and its personnel specialize in providing right of way services to oil and gas companies, local government, and utility providers. Right of Way is the complex process of acquiring land for public or private use such as a pipeline, transmission line, water line or wind turbine. Our approach involves quick and accurate title research, proactive survey support & coordination, detailed contact logs & reports outlining any special provisions for certain properties, and agreement negotiations that protect our client’s interests. We utilize a web based multi-user land management GIS system to better collect and manage data acquired by field land agents.
Our internal QC processes allow us to detail any special provisions to survey and construction personnel. SRB also provides field support during survey and construction phases enhancing our ability to help our clients maintain good working relationships with landowners.
Right of Way Services Include:
All services include project oversite and management by a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor.
